Cindy Wong pursued her education at the University of Hong Kong while working full-time in her corporate job. Having worked a decade in the travel industry, specializing in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa, her work allowed her to travel to over 50 countries, including Antarctica. Cindy is now a full-time creative entrepreneur. She founded several businesses, including 8Letters Bookstore and Publishing, aiming to boost the evolving Philippine indie author industry. Aside from offering indie publishing services to professionals and aspiring authors, 8Letters nurtures a thriving writing community by conducting a monthly LitFest with author launches and writing workshops. Cindy is also the author of several books, including 31st, Back in Santa Barbara, Embracing Uncertainties, One, Two, Sh*t, and The Meatball Club. She now reside in Siberia in her pursuit of more adventure and inspiring stories to write.

Emerald Blake Emerald Blake Author

Emerald Blake is the head mentor and president of Penmasters Administration, a non-profit organization that aims to reach out to new and aspiring authors as well as seasoned authors, publishers, writing platforms, and writing communities. She began writing poems and stories at the age of 9. She was also a news writer, feature writer, literary writer and Editor-in-Chief of a School Publication. She also became the associate editor of a college publication from 2006 to 2007. Some of her published novels include “Memories of Jeddah” which was featured in an episode on the show “Tadhana” in GMA 7 last February 2018 and “Sa Agos ng Tadhana” published by Precious Hearts Romances (PHR) last January 2015. Emerald Blake is also a freelance content writer and a digital business owner. Currently, she does virtual workshops and collaborates with publishers and writing organizations during weekends to help writers improve in their craft.
