Get the Complete Experience: Author of ‘Silence’ Shares the Latest at the Philippine Book Festival 2025

Author Che De Leon’s award-winning debut novel Silence will be available from March 13 to 16 at the Philippine Book Festival at SM Megamall Megatrade Hall.

Set in a world where perfection has been achieved and those with missing body parts are considered Incomplete, Silence follows Lily, a girl who lost her tongue, as she navigates through a dangerous landscape of greed and desperation on a quest to reclaim her missing tongue and thus, reclaim her identity.

“The author weaves a complex narrative that is as emotionally resonant as it is darkly imaginative. Lily’s internal battle mirrors the external conflict in this fractured world, making her story both deeply personal and universally relatable. De Leon’s voice is distinct and powerful, offering readers an unflinching look at survival, identity, and resilience.” Literary Titan
