Rommel V. Carrera
Rommel Carrera is a former semi-professional musician, songwriter, and singer with a major label release in the 1990s. Since then, he has recorded primarily as a solo artist under the moniker “The BratCave” and has won a songwriting award from the CCP. He is a first-time author.
He did various odd jobs to support his artistic endeavors, including being a process and design engineer for a multinational energy company and a business leader for several multinational organizations across various industries.
He graduated with a degree of BS in Chemical Engineering (cum laude) from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, and topped the Chemical Engineering board examinations. He was also an outstanding graduate of the Asian Institute of Management’s Basic Management Program.
His music composition and creative writing education came from Coursera, EdX, and YouTube courses.
