Description

Under the Dakit Tree is a collection of five third-person short stories set in a small fictitious barangay in Bohol named Dakitan. Its cast rotates around the characters who reside within its close-knit community and the myths that come alive throughout the length of each short story. One thing that remains constant throughout the collection is that the real and the imagination cannot—or perhaps refuse—to be distinguished.
