The poems in “January Again” emanate a story about two lovers who almost gave up on each other while trying to find the right time for more than a decade now. It is as if the universe is always testing them by bringing them closer, breaking them apart, reconnecting them and then breaking them again. It’s almost an unending cycle. But through the years, one thing remained the same. It is their love for each other. Because isn’t this what waiting does to us? It reveals what we truly believe in.
