Description
When a late night transcription job turns strange, one virtual assistant’s carefully managed routine starts to unravel. Kathlyn Rosales works nights, balances deadlines with family group chats that double as breaking news and unsolicited life advice, and shares her Manila apartment with a grumpy cat who thinks he’s in charge. As a freelance virtual assistant, she likes her life predictable and manageable. Taking on a high-paying archival project should have been simple.
It isn’t.
The 1890s journal she’s meant to transcribe are a little too vivid. The museum archivist on the other end of her laptop is a little too distracting.
