Crown of Two Halves | R.M.T. Lazarte

Description

In the kingdom of Regalia, power isn’t just felt—it’s worn. The ruling elite possess invisible “Hats,” psychic shards of authority that grant them absolute control. For Rez, an orphan with a hidden alien heritage, these crowns are a target he can actually see.

When a moment of righteous fury awakens a dormant power within him and his childhood friend, Aria, their world shatters. They are revealed as the mythic Vessels of legend: the Blade, capable of severing authority, and the Sheath, meant to contain it.

Joined by a telepathic cat and Aria’s steadfast brother, they embark on a desperate mission to dismantle the tyrannical Reforgers. But every stolen shard carries a psychic weight. As the burden grows, Rez and Aria face a terrifying choice: remain human and fail, or merge into the Prima Corona—the very weapon their enemies crave to control the world.
