Lucius Arrow

Lucius Arrow (legally known as Kirk Rejie Padilla Del Valle) was conceived through unnatural means during the Pandemic and reaped through the crevices of a man’s lucid realm of vagaries that came about from infinitesimal residues of ‘Lockdown’ anxiety. He was raised in a breezy unknown marshland in Bicolandia, occluding the reclaimed shores of the Albay Gulf but currently resides in a declivitous urban jungle, nestled in the bustling domains of Metro Manila. During his High School Years, he was enthralled in the world of fiction and had his nearest taste of blood and sweat under the paper and plume by being part of the School Newspaper—a brief stint as a Feature Writer.

His education brought him unequivocal opportunities to see the world for free, aboard cargo ships—while working as a Seafarer but inadvertently found a delusional coercion to settle down as a landlubber and made unfruitful attempts to venture into the world of Sales, which eventually proved to be narrowly despondent.  Now, he is raising a family, making ends meet through the nine-to-five drudgeries of a pretentious customer satisfaction advocate, and takes pleasure in writing; another delusional self-centered egotistical endeavor that he wishes to endure up to the last of his days. Silence the Prier is his first work of fiction. But driven to make a dent in the universe of writers he plans to unleash a series of stories, purged from the portals of his belligerent world of imagination while keeping his sanity latched down by the tensile fabrics of logic and pragmatism. However, he often finds himself beset by his cantankerous musings; the irreparable effects of being plunged deeply within the murky corners of inescapable daydreaming, like lost in a trance, like right now, as we speak, while writing this BIO. Nevertheless, by divine providence and creative articulation, he asserts to provide a redefining second-hand experience to the reader by mystifying the demarcation lines between facts and bent reality.
