Janine Canono

Janine Canono is a writer and poet based in the Philippines. She self-published her debut poetry and prose book, In Here, Always, in 2021—a collection that explores the quiet, beautiful transitions of human emotions through love, joy, pain, growth, and healing.

Outside of writing, she works full-time in digital PR and marketing for global creative agencies, while also doing freelance PR for startup businesses and brands. Despite her corporate career, writing has always been at the heart of who she is, ultimately leading her to pursue her dream of becoming an author.

Deeply passionate about self-growth and mental well-being, Janine hopes to create work that resonates, comforts, and connects, using her voice to reflect shared experiences and remind others that they are not alone.
