Criselda Yabes as Luna Cimafranca

A journalism graduate of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Criselda Yabes spent years covering the conflict in Southern Mindanao, where she grew up. Some of her published works include Sarena’s Story: The Loss of a Kingdom, which also won the UP Centennial Literary Prize for Creative Non-Fiction simultaneously with Below the Crying Mountain. Her latest books, The Battle of Marawi (2020) and Broken Islands (2019), address the ISIS-led siege and the aftermath of Super Typhoon Haiyan respectively.

For the first time, Criselda writes as Luna Cimfranca in the romance genre.
