Wishful Thinking | Thomas Salvaleon

Description

What if someone trapped in unrequited love found a wishing star that grants unlimited wishes?

After a night spent trying to forget a heartbreak, drowned in bad memories and spilled beers, Nolan wakes to find himself lying at the edge of a crater. At its center lies a glowing green rock. He can’t tell if it’s real or just another dream, but something about it feels aware, as if waiting for him to speak his desire.

Overwhelmed, Nolan whispers the only thing he can think of, that he wants to be home. In an instant, the world blurs, and he is back in his bed. Relief floods him—until he notices the same glowing rock resting on his bedside table. He realizes that it is no ordinary stone. It grants wishes.

Now Nolan holds the power to reshape reality itself. Yet only one wish truly matters to him, a chance to finally reach Niamh, the girl he cannot forget and the memory he cannot escape.
