Gilbert ‘Abet’ Balin
Si Kuya Abet ay dating Parish Youth Minister at proud Barista. Lumaki siya sa San Ildefonso Parish, Makati, kung saan niya hinasa ang kanyang skills sa training at facilitation. Isa sa mga paborito niyang ibahagi ay ang Youth Encounter at iba’t ibang leadership formations para sa kabataan.
As a Barista—(the title given to trainers of Code of Champions and Get a Life seminars by his good friend Rev. Fr. Armand Robleza, SDB)—Kuya Abet has spent years guiding young people in discovering purpose and joy in life.
Professionally, he is a Mechanical Engineer and Work Health and Safety Engineer, working in the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.
Pero higit sa lahat, he is a persistent follower of Christ who finds joy in sharing stories, inspiring others, and journeying with the youth.
